MAKE A DIFFERENCE

How you can make a difference…

More money is needed to study breast cancer. We need to learn much more about the causes, prevention, and treatment of this disease. We also need to look out for ourselves and the other women in our life.

Here's what you can do:

Get Pink

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Wear a pink ribbon to let people know you care and be ready to talk about the facts if someone asks.

Race for the Cure

The Komen Race for the Cure® is the largest group of 5K runs/walks in the world (5K is about 3 miles). Well over a million people - girls, boys, women, men, young and old - take part in more than 100 races each year. Race for the Cure raises money and awareness for the fight against breast cancer. It also celebrates breast cancer survivors and honors those who have died from the disease. Find a race in your area and walk or run for the cure!
